The Voice Recap: Blind Auditions, Take Four

It's episode four of The Voice's blind auditions, with Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton back in their red-spinning spaceship chairs yet again.

How much fun is this show?

American Idol likes to tout its star-creating power, and The Voice may not have an answer to that until it produces its own Kelly Clarkson ... or even a Scotty McCreery.

Still, it remains a far more entertaining show in many respects, from the diversity of the vocalists trying out, to the rapport between the judges and the unique format.

Who got the stars to turn around Monday and joined Teams Adam, Cee Lo, Blake and Xtina? Let's break down the performances of Monday's Voice aspirants, by team:

Team Adam Levine

Mathai, who covered Adele (never a bad choice nowadays), showed creativity, stage presence and raw vocal talent. Adam was lucky to land this hot commodity.

Adam also snagged Nicolle Galyon, who wants to be the first country music piano girl. She sounds great, despite her obvious problem with nerves. Take a look:

Karla Davis and those two join previous team members Tony Lucca, Kim Yarbrough, Angel Taylor, Pip, Katrina Parker, Chris Cauley and Nathan Parrett.

Team Blake Shelton

Naia Kete is a street performer. Literally, she sings on the street. She'll get a chance to perform in grander venues after this rendition of "The Lazy Song."

Charlotte Sometimes has a great name, and possibly an even greater voice, as she proved with her take on "Apologize." Watch her do her thing below:

Blake also got Jordan Rager and ALyX (yup, spelled that way) to join RaeLynn, Gwen Sebastian, Jermaine Paul, Erin Willett, Joris Unga and Brian Fuente.

Team Cee Lo Green

No other coach wanted Tony Vincent, the Broadway star, or Justin Hopkins, the former member of Carson Daly's band. But you only need one! Here's Tony:

Those two may not have what it takes, but Cee Lo may know better than we do. Jamie Lono (below) may have been his best addition Monday, though:

That trio now takes its place alongside Juliet Simms, Jamar Rogers, Angie Johnson, Sarah Golden, Erin Martin and James Massone on Team Cee Lo.

Team Christina Aguilera

Christina picked up Jonathas and Monique Benabou quickly Monday. The coaches said Jonathas's "U Got It Bad" sounded exactly like Usher Agree?

Ashley de la Rosa and Anthony Evans also impressed Christina enough to earn a place on her squad. Here's a look at Anthony's "What's Going On" ...

Her team is now comprised of those newbies, Jesse Campbell, Chris Mann, The Line, Lindsey Pavao, Geoff McBride and Moses Stone.

Who had the best audition of the night? Who are you rooting for? Discuss!
