Lady Gaga, Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake in Vanity Fair’s ‘Innovative Visionary’ List with Facebook, Google Founders

What do Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake and Ashton Kutcher have in common with Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Page and Sergey Brin? Well, they are the "innovative visionaries" according to Vanity Fair's "New Establishment" list.

Vanity Fair's "New Establishment" list, which ranks the top 50 high-profile individuals who are the "innovative new breed of buccaneering visionaries, engineering prodigies, and entrepreneurs, who quite often sport hoodies, floppy hair, and backpacks,"?is topped by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg for the second consecutive year while Google co-founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page share the No. 2 spot. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is ranked No. 3, while top Apple executive Tim Cook and SVP of Industrial Design Jonathan Ives are at No. 4. Twitter founder Jack Dorsey and credit card payment start-up Square share the No. 5 spot.

Lady Gaga scored the highest among women who made it?to the list, with a No. 9 rank ahead of Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling at No.16.

The three performing artists who made into the list, Lady Gaga, Jay-Z at No. 21 and Justin Timberlake at No. 50 are active in business and technology. Lady Gaga has invested in the social platform Backplane and has partnerships with Monster, Polaroid and Zynga, reports say. Jay-Z is a co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records and is the founder of Roc Nation, a multi-faceted partnership with Live Nation. Justin Timberlake has invested in MySpace and technology startups Stipple and Dekko.

Sean Parker, co-founder of Napster and an investor in Spotify, is at No. 34, while actor-investor Ashton Kutcher is at No. 43.

Vanity Fair also released a list of 25 "Powers That Be," with "the people who have shaped the world we live in today - and continue to wield enormous influence." Apple's co-founder and Chairman Steve Jobs, has topped the list, which, of course, is no surprise.

Former Google CEO and now Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt made it into the "Hall of Fame" list put out by?Vanity Fair.
