Reese Witherspoon's Ojai, California retreat has hit the market for $10 million. The horse property was not only a getaway for Witherspoon and her family, but also a rumored escape for actor Robert Pattinson.
According to reports, Pattinson headed to Witherspoon's Ojai estate after it surfaced that girlfriend and fellow "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart had cheated on him.
The Ojai home is an hour from Los Angeles ? and the paparrazi that comes with it ? in an area that feels "like you're in the country and you're away from it all," says listing agent Billy Rose, co-founder of brokerage The Agency.
"Assuming the reports are correct and Pattinson was there, it's a place that people don't care. There's not the same sort of celebrity attraction that we have (in L.A.) with the vans and buses with people who want to go look at houses that people lived in 40 years ago," explained Rose. "I think that you can be much more of a normal person up there."
Normalcy is probably what Pattinson was pursuing and likely what also attracted A-lister Witherspoon when she purchased the home.
The estate at 915 Del Norte Rd, Ojai, California, 93023 was originally built as a stable for Edward Libbey, the glassware magnate, who is also considered the founding father of Ojai. Libbey commissioned celebrity architect Wallace Neff, who put his own touch on the property.
?Ghostbusters? actor and director Harold Ramis owned the residence previously, as did designer/supermodel Kathy Ireland at one point. Ireland completed a full remodel of the property, but as Rose explained, kept the authenticity of the home.

What's more dramatic than a reality TV show? How about the fiery fallout of a real-life, bitter divorce between stars of a reality TV show.
"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Adrienne Maloof and her estranged husband, Paul Nassif, have upped the ante on their breakup by putting their family estate for sale for a whopping $26 million.
Listed by Mauricio Umansky, CEO and co-founder of The Agency, and husband of Maloof's fellow cast member Kyle Richards, the enormous Beverly Glen home spans 20,000 square feet on 2 acres at 54 Beverly Park Way, Los Angeles, Californa, 90210.

Maloof, 51, is a co-owner of various Maloof Companies ventures, including part ownership of the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas and the Sacramento Kings basketball team.
